Hai! This is my guide to one of the most, IMHO, underestimated heroes in the game. My aim with this guide is to inform the world and show everyone why he is so powerful, but only in the right hands. So put on your music, grab something to eat and read away!

1.0 Attributes

"Once a noble knight protecting his kingdom, the man was thrown into Hell, where he was ripped apart over and over for centuries. Now, Lucifer has thrown him back onto the soil, corrupted and mindless, as King Leoric, the Skeleton King. He marches on, leading his minions with an unfaltering gaze, knowing only one thing: the orders given to him by the dark lord himself. Able to cripple his opponents by drawing power from the fiery depths of hell itself, King Leoric is a major threat on the battlefield. His mighty blade allows him and others in his presence to drain the blood of their enemies. It is said that he is unkillable, and those who are struck down by his hellfire don't wake up again."

Sounds pretty scary! So lets get into his attributes.




1.1 Pros and Cons

- Nice STR gain
- VERY spammable 2 second stun
- High damage throughout the game, especially late game
- Good Armor
- One active spell
- Mega Lifesteal
- Built in Buriza
- Average Movespeed
- 2 lives

[-] Cons
- Item Dependant
- Average Movespeed
- Slow IAS
- High manacost ulti
- One active spell
- Low INT
- So easily countered

So as you see, he has great pros, but some bad cons. But don't fully judge him until you have played him- the right way!

1.2 Skills


Pretty basic skill. Storm bolt. Great for chasing and for a little bonus damage. DO NOT SPAM EARLY GAME!!


The skill is so ownage. People say that an entire team of melee is an instant lose. Not with Leoric on your team!


This is what makes Leoric so scary late game. Pulling off 1000 damage crits is no joke.


Leoric's trademark skill. This gives him 2 chances at a team battle, effectively making it 6v5- UNLESS you get mana-burned.

2.0 Skill build

His skill build is pretty simple, but it can be very flexible!

You get the picture. You want to max Hellfire blast as soon as possible because the damage cannot be ignored. Stats is if you are playing something like a 4v4, in which you have a void stone, so you can spam your Hellfire Blast. Vampiric Aura is what I get because it lets me stay in the lane because I just hit a creep and get 25 HP back! Critical is for harassing melee people, by hitting them and hoping that you will crit.

His skill build is very versatile but I suggest Hellfire Blast and Vampiric maxed first and your Reincarnation taken whenever possible.

Why take Reincarnation at lvl 6 when you have really low mana?
Be conservative! Keep enough mana for a Reincarnation and when your back from being dead, you'll have full mana again!

3.0 Item Build

As you saw in the table of contents, he has MANY skill builds! He's insanely flexible and adaptable to any situation.

3.1 Destroyer Build
This build is what I have been talking about all along. Here is how to get the 1000 damage crits

Start off with:

Then in your lane, get preferably void stone first, but if your having a hard time in your lane, go for a RoH
Then buy at your base INT!!

Afterwards, turn your pers into

Then finish your build with

And from then the game has ended.

Why? These are pulling of MEGA damage crits, and your lifesteal/IAS just rock!

3.2 Supporting SK

WHAT?!? SUPPORTING SKELETON KING?? GG noob -.-

No. I'm not talking about the heal or +armor supporter, I'm talking about supporting ganker! This guy will be REALLY helpful when your ganking. Not a preferred style of builds but hey, why not?



But why supporting? Gotta have your options open! How do you play support? Just throw your stuns when they need it.

3.3 Lifestealer

Yes, if you want to play someone who has mega lifesteal but isn't banned in every game, this is the build for you!

Pretty easy! You have 69% lifesteal when satanic isn't activated! That's comparable to Insatiable Hunger!!

3.4 Chaser

Yep, we are going to turn Leoric into a chasing machine!

Yeah two orb effects, but if you put your skadi in the first slot, you'll be slowing, with your mega MS. On that note:
WHEN YOU BUY YOUR SKADI, MAKE SURE IT'S IN YOUR 1ST SLOT! or else it wont work. You'll have your skadi, but you can't eat it! So put it in your Num-7 slot which is the top left

3.5 Leoric on crack

I know, Leoric doesn't do drugs, but he does go crazy!

Yeah, he puts a cool mask on that turns him crazy so he bashes the crap out of peoples heads and makes shiny lights every! But, it's fun. PUB BUILD! NOT LEAUGE STUFF
