1- Intro

Rite. This guide is the result of me being fed up of seeing people play Bone like any other plain Auto Attack DPS hero. Ricing a MKB after around 30 mins, enjoying their new "I WIN" button but then never get a chance to use it due to Choosing to play as the Fragile sack of Bones that is Bone fletcher. If you want to play as a hero where you can own and freely Rice a MKB you need to start Playing as Viper. Playing Clinkz like you would play Viper or Drow is not using him to his full potential.

2 - Role In the team

Your main focus is to scout. You have the ability to maintain Perm Invisibility from level 1. At level 4 of Windwalk with Treads you are at 511 Movespeed. Even if you are detected they will have trouble catching you, as your windwalk will Always be off cooldown. The goal of this guide is to teach how to play Clinkz to his true role of an Assassin. Stalking and picking off a troublesome foe in meer moments before vanishing into the shadow, all the while abusing your speed and Invisibility to keep your team out of harm.

You can not be reckless. To be successful with this style, you must plan and co-ordinate with your team in other to make the most of your ability to bypass their defences, and know when to retreat. A bone that stays to fight is a dead bone.

So What is the M.O.A.B? What is the Mother of All Builds for Clinkz? What items compliment him the best? The proof is in the pudding

3 - Skill Breakdown

Strafe

Prior to 6.61 this would be skipped for stats and taken only lategame at between 17-20. However the recent buff changed this. Instead of the old 20/40/60/80% Scaling for 90 mana it is 50/60/70/80% for 90 mana, but starts with a longer cooldown to compensate.

50% attackspeed for a single talent point is nothing to sneeze at, even if the cooldown is 1 minute. The cooldown decrease and minor attackspeed gain is worthless early on when your damage to attackspeed ratio is out of wack. This is mainly due to the access of attackspeed you'll acquire earlyone from your core items. The other reason though is Windwalk and Death Pact take Priority on your mana, so being able to use this skill more often is not worth it until you can sustain all of your skills, which is normally just after you finish orchid.

Searing Arrows.

With arrows being buffed to +20/30/40/50 Damage from the old +10/20/30/40 you now have a very powerful farming an harass skill from level 1. It has a 2 second cooldown until level 3 meaning you must not waste it. It is very hard to Deny a Clinkz currently, that +10 damage each level has helped alot, and also makes your harass even meaner. If there is no creep about to hit the red for you to hit with an arrow then use it on your foe. Searing arrows hurt alot more than other Orbwalk skills because it is flat bonus damage and no other fancy effects.

This skill does diminish in power compared to other orbs and it does have the weakest orbwalk in the game. Because it does not slow and since the damage is so precise people will realise that you are trying to kill them or are able to kill them and will back off. There is nothing you can do about it. You mite get a lucky kill with Searing arrows if the hero your fighting has no disables or is slower than you but do not go in expecting one. However earlygame making people run back instead of dying and spawning at the fountain is a huge setback for them as it takes alot longer.

Overall it is a great skill for extra damage to farm and harass earlygame by giving you double damage at level 7. It is a must have and your first priority.
