Medusa is one of the hardest to kill heroes if she has a pool of mana. The new version Medusa is a lot more a team player. Medusa is as fragile as other heroes early in the game. So it is better to get stats early for hp,. Last-hit and denying is the best way to get an advantage. She needs a lot of mana so get perseverance first. The technique in Medusa is, when you use Mystic Snake, target the first creep because it bounces 7 times(at lvl4), the last one hit takes the biggest damage. Her MS(Mystice Snake) also saps mana and gives it to you. During clashes is where she is at her best. Medusa should not initiate the attack but rather wait for her teammates to attack.Because Stone Gaze doesn't work on enemies with their backs facing at Medusa, she should face the opponents then cast Stone Gaze to slow them down and negate buffs. During the commotion, Medusa casts her MS.

Medusa can also be a great tank provided that she has a lot of mana. Just be sure you have at least 2100+mana. Just cast Mjolnir on her,activate mana shield and cast MS everytime it cools down.
