[o] INTRODUCTION [x]
Perhaps you random him, maybe you are so awestruck by his awesomeness that you forget to pick a hero in RD and you random him or maybe your playing CM and you are told to play him, you must admit... he is awesome almighty purple shishkabob.
Dark Seer is a great example of an INT hero that kicks a lot of ass when you play him right. His skill set provides good offensive, defensive and supportive abilities that can turn the tide of battle (most of the time). One thing that I personally think is neat, is that he is more than likely one of the few INT heroes that can really tank damage, while dishing out the same damage in return. He is an incredible pusher that rivals axe in pushing capabilities, he is a great ganker due to the fact he can position and keep up (or help his teammates) with fleeing enemies, and he is a stellar farmer given his stats. If you want to have a fun game, be an aggressive physical attacker and still be able to support your team throughout the entire game, pick Dark Seer.
[o] SKILLS [x]
[skill one] Vaccum c)
mana cost: 100/130/160/190
cooldown: 16 seconds all levels
casting range: 800 all levels
AoE: 300/400/500/600
Damage: 60/120/180/240
Explanation:
Nice AoE that can either save your ass or kick someone elses. Position your enemy for a nice team gank, or an easy escape if you are ganked. Key rule is positioning! Since they changed the collision affect of his vacuum, now you cant just Vac and expect the enemy to be in the middle if he was behind creeps, therefor this skill requires decent planning to make the best use out of it. Its a really nice AoE that screws over those pesky channelers (atropos, pudge, WD, Rhasta etc...), Vac and surge for the quick save. Or mabey your team screwed up the gank on Clinkz or BH, and he 'manages' to get away with only 50hp, because of vacuums super awesome range, those stupid WWs cant escape!
[skill two] Iron Shell (e)
mana cost: 60/80/100/120
cooldown: 7 seconds all levels
casting range: 600 all levels
AoE: 250 all levels
Damage: 30/45/60/75 DPS
Duration: 15 seconds all levels
Explanation:
This is your defining sparkly shiny -rape in a bubble- skill, that you can use to effectively lay some hurt on the enemy with. Got a pesky AM on your team that loves raping your enemies mana pool? Make him pay for that mana damnit! Once you get about lvl 2 shell he will be a pitifull anti-mage.
EXAMPLE: AMs base attack speed is 1.45 seconds, within the first 10-20 minutes is when AM is harassing for mana whenever he can. Iron shell does 30/45/60/75 DPS, while it takes him at LEAST 1 second to burn only 16/32/48/64 mana, not to mention iron shell stacks (60/90/120/150 DPS). Poor fragile little Mangina is rendered utterly useless and will be forced to face the wrath of all the fun spells you and your lane mate harass him with (they gave him blink for a reason lol).
NOTE MUST BE TAKEN! DO NOT CONSTANTLY KEEP YOUR CREEPS SHELLED! I
absolutely HATE when your lane mate bitches you out for 'not shelling creeps' BOO FUCKING HOO! not only is it a waste, your lane pushes REALLY hard, making it impossible for you to farm the creepwaves. ONLY SHELL CREEPS IF:
[ONE] enemy/ies are both melee (stupid choice on their part) AND you have a ranged lane partener to harass them if they DARE TOUCH the creeps to last hit/deny. MAKE SURE you or your partner is denying creeps! IT IS IMPORTANT!!!
[TWO] if the enemy/ies are retarded and like tanking creep waves for shits and giggles (seen that too often c-c) SHELL THE CREEPS (either scourge or sent no matter)! make them pay for their stupidity, and laugh have a good laugh! You can also just harass them into staying a good distance from the waves just by plain harassing.
[THREE] if you have a ranged lane partener or a STR lane partener, shell them and have them run around harassing the enemy. Not only is it funny, it keeps them from getting a great deal of EXP because they have to sit so far away from the wave (really fun on axe lol)
IF your retarded lane partner is still bitching tell him to stfu and go cry somewhere else, not in this lane e-e;
[skill three] Surge (r)
mana cost: 20/30/40/50
cooldown: 12/11/10/9 seconds
casting range: 600 all levels
duration: 3/4.5/6/7.5
Explanation:
The best skill for all of us lazy impatiennt fatties that don't like the normal movespeed xD Want to save allies? Get out of a sticky situation? Catch up to a fleeing hero for the rundown kill? GO GO SURGE! to the rescue! literally Make Lycan look like a noob for trying to chase you down! Ganked? Make the entire team look like complete retards! Ganking and failing (lol)? Make your team look scary and surge the biggest scariest fatass on your team for the kill! Lazy and not satisfied with the average 300-350 movespeed? how does 522 MS sound? sexy right?
REALLY TICK THE OTHER TEAM OFF! escape ganks and help your team out of a mess, they will thank you later.
[ULTIMATE] Wall of (boring)Replica (w)
mana cost: 200/300/400
cooldown: 100 seconds all levels
casting range: 500/900/1300
AoE (wall length): 1000 all levels
Duration (including images): 15/30/45 seconds
Explanation:
While really boring and useless in most situations, Wall of Replica is GREAT for pushing/defending. Provides a great deal of confusion when the enemy team is trying to defend/attack the base. If they are really stupid, they will rape the images only to waste mana and time (much for your entertainment).
[o] GENERAL ITEM BUILD [x]
starting items:
2x
1x
explanation:
basic, very generic jungle/lane build. I always get this for starters because it allows you to jungle/gank easy early game.
IF YOU RANDOM SEER: throw in an extra tango/clarity or get mantles/gauntlet for added mana/hp.
early/mid game:
(2225)
(600) 2/3x
and
explanation:
Basically your goal is to finish vangaurd, get bottle, finish nulls and begin working on your Phase Boots. Phase boots are 100% important, but you definitely need boots, so no skipping them. Your role right now is to either help whatever lane needs helping, ganking and going into jungle and letting your carry farm the lane. By now if you have a reasonably competent team, you should have a few kills under your belt, and you should begin pushing the lanes to take towers if you haven't already.
With the Vanguard, you are now pretty much self sufficient. You can roam freely around the map helping team mates, and you can actively participate in fights. Tanking creep waves is a breeze and enemies generally won't harass you. Be wary of ganks, always make sure you have enough mana for shell and surge, no matter where you are. Conserving mana is a main priority so only surge if you need to get somewhere fast, and only shell if you need it. At this stange, you alone can wander through the enemy forest and 1v1 most enemy heros (stay away from heavy disables/tanks) Stunners (slardar/troll/etc) can disable you, but they cant avoid taking the iron shell damage, if you get caught in the forest with them, ALWAYS stack shell! In these situations save enough mana for a quick vacuum to finish them off or a quick escape. At level 10 you can solo MOST MELEE heroes and win (its fun)
SITUATIONAL MIDGAME ITEMS:
tank those nukes like a pro! You can still get vangaurd with this if you really want, but preferably get one or the other. Opt for vangaurd if they have heavy dps/tanks that can outlast you, get hood for annoying nukers that will rape you late game. MAKE SURE YOU DECIDE if you want hood/vangaurd when you purchase your RoH.
mid/late game:
OR
explanation:
YOUR GOAL MID GAME IS TO DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU! your core item(s) consist of Shivas or Guinsoo, your choice is which item will better benefit you and your team. If you get targeted in team fights, or end up leaving them early, running for your life, get shivas. If you don't have many disables on your team and you can somewhat manage existing in the midst of battle, opt for gunisoo. Both are great items for different reasons, AGAIN DECIDE WHAT ITEM YOU WANT WHEN YOU GET YOUR STAFF! make sure you consult your team just in case! It is a team game remember?
Shivas makes you a crazy tank of sorts, you can now catch heros off gaurd and kill most melee heros 1v1, again you have to watch out for heavy disablers/tanks, don't be stupid and try to tank huskar or brood lategame, and if you think you can, idk how you even have shivas/guinsoo in the first place xD.
Guinsoo is a really nice support item for obvious reasons, its anti-gank and great in team fights. Not only can you help your team members escape, you can lay the hurt on the enemies allowing your team to focus fire people safely.
AFTER completing one of these two items you can begin to work on your radience/bloodstone/guinsoo/shivas (whichever you didn't get mid game)
SITUATIONAL MID?LATE GAME ITEMS
find that you die too fast in team fights or you simply need to beef up? This is a viable item by all means, just make sure it is the right item. 5000 gold is alot, and it could be used to start other important items.
ONLY GET THIS IF YOU CAN USE IT TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL. Nobody EVER gets this item (I rarely see it ever), but it is very useful in certain situations. Again make sure this is the right item, 2700 gold can start you on your guni/shivas or start your bloodstone/radi.
late game

explanation:
Gold matches purple pretty well I'd have to say, and those sparkles bring out your eyes (ha ha ha). Radiance is the icing on the cake for you late game. If you farm well, get your share of kills and do your part in team battles, you will probably finish your radiance while your taking down the first two rax's.
BIG MISTAKE: DO NOT RUSH RADIANCE! +60 damage is shit when you cant even last more than a few minutes in team battle. Not only does this put of your core items, it also makes you highly vulnerable until you can get your staff. Not to mention you basically have your own radiance built in (iron shell) that can stack and do probably quadruple the damage output of a radiance in a short burst.
PLEASE NOTE: this is just a general item build that I typically make, it serves its purpose very well and makes you a formidable opponent.
[o] GENERAL SKILL BUILD [x]
Now Seers skill build is pretty stead-fast, and you generally don't need to stray too far from it (only in extreme situations).
Whether or not you whore out in the jungle or lane, always get iron shell first. Surge is opted for as ganking comes into play. your really vulnerable without it, as you have no effective escape mechanism. Generally I don't get my ult until I max out shell/vacuum. I really really really really really really don't stray far from this, if you want, throw a few stat points in here and there, but generally your two shields and hiding in the forest coming out only for ganks, really nullify the need to get stats, your skills are way more valuable early game than stats.

[o] SOME COOL TRICKS [x]
now is the fun part where I tell you stupid things I've picked up after playing seer for some time.
TRICK ONE: pulling creep camps! its helpfull from levels 2-6 exp wise, just be carefull you don't pull furbolg camps or golem camps. Save them until your shell is level 2 or you have your RoR (golems are magic immune so make sure you check each camp before you shell). Creep camps respawn when there are no corpses in the camp, and a general rule of thumb is pull at x:50/53 seconds depending which creeps you are pulling. Stupid satyrs purge you and you end up fucking the pull up (which is stupid ><) so make sure you plan ahead. PAY ATTENTION TO LANES! Dont let your team mate languish in a lane being beaten into submission! Always be conscious of the maps and be careful on the creep camp above the rune spot. Enemies can see you from the river if you are creeping there and will call a gank.
TRICK TWO: easy kills come from the aid of towers. If your lane is push back just out of tower range (nothing is drawing tower agro) wait for your enemy to deny/kill a creep on your side, check if you have an unblocked path and alert your team mate. When your enemy strays too close, quickly vacuum them into tower range, not only surprising them, but making them frantically run around giving you prime opportunity for a kill; this works even better if your lane mate is a stunner/disabler like rhasta or lion. A good percentage of the time people don't realize the AoE of vacuum and are forced to pay for their ignorance.
TRICK THREE: If you are being chased or the team is stupid and their gank initiator stumbles in, vacuum them away from you and surge yourself to safety. Not only is it really funny, it really pisses off the other team. "why are you so fast?!" was a funny comment I got one time.
TRICK FOUR: KNOW YOUR BUDDIES. Seer has quite a few friends, I'd actually go so far as to say hes really popular with alot of heroes, for very obvious reasons.
Pudge: shell him before he hooks and surge him while he finishes off the enemy! A surged pudge is a very scary sight for the other team.
ES: Echo slam? fissure? what??? Pwn face with vac + fissure. position the enemy and have ES fissure, trapping the enemy and ensuring a kill.
Enigma: he is your bffl and then some. Black hole and Vacuum were two skills destined to meet. Wait for the entire team to push or initiate a fight and Vac + Hole = entire team dead. Artic blast to help finish the rest off as your team picks them off one by one.
Rhasta: Another great combo! Vac them onto a cliff where rhasta is waiting, wards + net + doo + shell = 200% overkill. Make sure your Rhasta doesn't suck at ward trapping xD
Roofrellen: Another Vac + Ulti rape destenied to meet.
CM: again, more AoE rape with her ult. Finish off enemies with surge and shell.
The beautiful think about Seer is how compatable he is on any team, highly versitile and very flexable.
TRICK FIVE: chanellers? FUCK THEM! Screw up CM and Pudge, they ain't got shit on Vacuum. Vac and surge your team mate and mabey try to kill if the enemy is low enough health.
TRICK SIX: If you are being chased/chasing a enemy, vaccum them towards/away from you for easy escape. Vac heros into the fog and surge for an easy getaway.
TRICK SEVEN: Shell annoying WW for the added lulz. Watch your enemy run around wondering why they are losing health.
I hope you found this guide to be a little bit usefull! I made it at 3am in the morning I will definately read through it again and edit once I get some sleep xD
