Ok first off lycan was my first melee hero (traxex was my first hero period) and he is beyond awesome and very easy to use i highly would suggest lycan to total noobs for the sake of his ease of use. Mastering him takes at least decent understanding of the game (definately not excluding items). He is fun to play with and anyone who can't/doesn't/hasn't/won't/etc. really should give lycan a fair shot. He's excellent in all aspects of the game.

III. SKILL DESCRIPTION

1. Summon Wolves

1- 2 weak wolves
2- 2 wolves with critical strike
3- 2 strong wolves with critical strike
4- 2 strong wolves with critical strike and permanent invisibility

Lycan without his wolves is nothing. They are a real help for farming or pushing lanes. Scare your opponents with their speed in chasing especially at lvl 4. So by all means max this out first. Lasts 55 sec and cd 30 sec.

2. Howl

1- +20 dmg to heroes/+4 dmg to units/cd 50/mc 15
2- +30/+8/45/20
3- 40/12/40/25
4- 50/16/35/30

Lvl this early if u find yourself in a lot of team battles. Even one lvl in this is VERY helpful early game. This skill is a global effect and includes your teammates and their units. So by all means use in team clashes whenever u can. However u can postpone this till later if u don't see too much action though its obvious that its affects are better felt early/mid game.

3. Ferral Heart

1- 15% Increase as/ms
2- 20% Increase as/ms
3- 25% Increase as/ms
4- 30% Increase as/ms

This is ur passive skill and it affects ur wolves and urself. So by all means lvl this with ur summon wolves. Pretty straight forward and simple.

4. Shapeshift

1- 100hp/cd 100
2- 200/70
3- 300/40

This shit right here nigga, THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE, is called DEATH (). thats right u heard me, this is ur ulti. and if u dont get this as soon as its available. u really need to learn the basics of dota, or read this again or any other lycan guide for that matter. theyll all telll u that THIS is ur bread and butter spell. it gives u max ms, more hp, and IAS, critical strike, and immunity to slow. as soon as u get this its time to gank and chase.
