Well Hello to all who will be reading my guide. Before you start I would like to say this is my first guide.
So Here's My Guide To Mogul Khan The Axe!

P.S. Thanks to ThisIsBob's Axe guide for the pic!!
Note:
This guide is for those people who know the basics of DotA and don't need a vivid description of every single skill and every single hero. Thank You
Pro's
1)Good Strength
2)Good melee ranged harasser
3)Good Armor thanks to Call
4)An amazing ultimate
5)Great synergy of spells
Con's:
1)Has potential only early to mid, i.e he looses almost all worth late game
2)Low MS
3)Too hairy for most people to handle.....
Personal Info:
Axe is a great hero in lane and in jungle, he can harras most lane opponents without breaking a sweat. The reason why he's such a good hero is because all his skills are at home with one another, counter-helix+call+culling at the right moment and assure an easy kill early to mid. His helix triggers not when he receives damage but when the animation takes place. His hunger is an unusual skill, its great for harassing but better used if your opponent is running away with low hp.
Skill Build:
Now before I jump into the skill build, I'd like to say that there are a large number of skill builds for Axe but for organized matches only 1 truly stands. Therefore I shall state that first,
Axe in Lane Build:
Level 1-Counter Helix
Level 2-Beserker's Call
Level 3-Counter Helix/Beserker's Call(Helix is preferred)
Level 4-Counter Helix/Beserker's Call(The opposite of Level 3, duh:mellow)
Level 5-Counter Helix
Level 6-Culling Blade
Level 7-Counter Helix
Level 8&9-Beserker's Call
Level 10-Stats/Battle Hunger
Level 11-Culling Blade
Level 12-15-Stats/Battle Hunger
Level 16-Culling Blade
Level 17to25-Stats/Battle Hunger
Skill Build Explanation:
Well basically this build is quite simple to understand, you are maxing out your main damage dealing spell, In this build your aim is to harras the enemy hero so much as to prevent him from even touching your creeps and pushing him back completely, If you lane partner is a stunner/slower you can even get some easy kills by sneaking up behind enemy heros after they are stunned and using call on them right after the stun time for some massive PAIN!! Call is taken instead of Hunger because at early levels you really don't have all that much manna for supporting many hungers and Call also gives you reasonable armor plus silences your enemies.
Q) Why are stats preferred over hunger at level 10???
A) Look at it this way, What is more useful, +2 to all stats(which gives Axe a small increase in his retarded manna pool) or a spell that's hardly going to be used in a proper gank? Now if you think the latter is better well I can't stop you there, but I feel the former is better.
The Never Last Hit When I'm Around Axe:
Level 1-Counter Helix
Level 2-Battle Hunger
Level 3-Counter Helix
Level 4-Battle Hunger
Level 5-Counter Helix
Level 6-Culling Blade
Level 7-Counter Helix
Level 8&9- Battle Hunger
Level 10-Beserker's Call
Level 11-Culling Blade
Level 12-14-Beserker's Call
Level 15-Stats
Level 16-Culling Blade
Level 17-25- Stats
Skill Build Explanation
This build is kinda like gambling. In this build you aren't taking your mini stun/silence and replacing it with a spell that really tortures your enemies. The plus side on this skill build is that you should have complete lane dominance if done right but the down side is that you'll hardly have enough manna at level 6 to finish the guy off with a culling. The proper way to make best use of this build is to Hunger your opponent and then charge at him(click on him so as the draw creep agro). Now any guy with half a brain should run away from a mad-man like you and in this way you are keeping him away from last-hitting and denying thus making sure hunger takes its toll on the poor soul.
Instead of stats at level 9 you start taking you Call to make sure you are ready to gank. This skill build requires practice and really should only be used in pubs.
Jungle Axe:
Level 1-Counter Helix
Level 2-Beserker's Call
Level 3-Counter Helix
Level 4-Beserker's Call
Level 5-Counter Helix
Level 6-Culling Blade
Level 7-Counter Helix
Level 8&9-Beserker's Call
Level 10-Stats/Battle Hunger
Level 11-Culling Blade
Level 12-15-Stats/Battle Hunger
Level 16-Culling Blade
Level 17to25-Stats/Battle Hunger
Skill Build Explanation:
Well I'm sure you've noticed its quite similar to Axe in lane build and truly to say it is. In this build you aren't gonna be that mean axe scarring people in lane, you're gonna be a hidden axe killing poor little koboids and mud golems!! This build just aims to get your items faster and give any team mates their precious "solo" lanes. Nothing much to say in this build except that please don't go about taking on Furblogs and Centaurs early in the levels because their attack speed is really low and their damage quite high. The best Neutrals are low level ones like koboids, gnolls, satyrs and mud golems.
Item Build

x 2
This should be what you basically start off with, 2 stouts to help block those creeps and 1/2 salves, axe needs to get back hp fast and tangoes are really optional.

OR

According to the situation you get one of these two items OR if required you get both, but it would be better if rushed your core after one of these
CORE:

This is you core item. The Blink dagger, this makes axe the scary monster he is
This is your main item layout,

(After your dagger but a boot is gotten before)
OR

Luxury:

Basically all axe needs is tanking items and blink. I've seen many people who don't like the blink but let me tell you I was one of those people until I realized how essential a blink was if you wanted the element of surprise to use Call on your enemies. Sneaking up from behind is just plain and simple retarded the minute they see an red gorilla coming for them they will just stun you and eat you up then and there. Blink allows you to make sure they don't see you or you allies and as they push a big hairy gorilla comes out and silences them all while all his team mates come out of hiding and nicely use their spells while the opponents are doing are just getting them selves killed
Rejected items:
Any ORBS, Axe has no use for orbs
Early Game:
Early Game Axe needs to harras, farm and kill all at the same time. Sound tough? Well it isn't while harassing you're farming and while harassing you're killing with counter helix! with me so far? good!Lets move on shall we?
Mid Game:
Mid Game you have 2 things to do. 1) Start focusing on farming your dagger and 2) start your ganks with your allies. This is all you need to do.
Late Game:
Late game is where axe starts losing potential all he can do now is to blink in Call a mass and let his allies tear the rest down while axe simply culls a low hp hero into oblivion. Push and end the game as fast as you can.
Axe's Best Friends
I'm not going to bother putting up images of heroes. I'll just name a few and put them under categories
Tide hunter, Vengeful Spirit, Lina, Demon Witch all stunners and slowers
Mirana, Treant Protector, heroes who can help you go invisible
Axe can even combo with Luna by clearing out opponent creeps enabling Eclipse to do maximum damage, even heroes like Crystal Maiden,Witch Doctor and heroes who have channeling spells also benefit from axe since call makes his enemies focus on him while these spell caster just dish out damage.
Axe's Worst Enemies
Basically Axe is gonna have a hard time early game against deadly nukers like tinker, lich etc.
Heroes with deadly ulties like Lina, demon witch etc.
Heroes who just won't let you get near them like Viper and Venomancer
Heroes who are late game tanks like Treant, Centaur, Magnus etc.
Late game DPSers are one of axe's most dangerous threats late in the game, the only counter to these guys is to shut them down early and mid when they are nothing but food for you. Anti-Mage,Phantom Lancer,Mortred etc.
Well hope you enjoyed my guide on Mogul Khan The Axe,
