#TITLE AND ARTWORK

#TABLE OF CONTENT

1. Foreword: This guide is intended to expound decent gameplay of the majorly underestimated hero Sven.

2. Hero Analysis
STR: 23 + 2.7
AGI: 21 + 2.0
INT: 14 + 1.3

Pros:
[+] Impactful throughout the whole game
[+] Obtains a strong targeted undodgeable AoE Stun at Level 1 with 2 sec duration
[+] Can deal massive amounts of physical damage without a stacked inventory

Cons:
[-] Purge effects practically ruin him
[-] Very low mana pool when used for raw roaming/ganking
[-] Possesses 2 abilites that are considered to be rather bad or too situational

Additional facts:
[o] Per se Sven does practically possess no lane presence, however, when paired with a viable partner he is capable of contributing a lot when building powerful lane duos or trios.

Roles in Teamplay:
In terms of teamplay regarding the current metagame, Sven does actually not offer too much different roles he can fulfill, however, he is capable of altering the understanding of his role during a game. There are practically 2 scenarios Sven could effectively used in your picking strategy: On the one hand you might just use him as the literally "walking Storm Bolt guy", whereas on the other hand you want to capitzalize slightly more from his inherent DPS potential that comes with his ultimate and thus play him more like a semi-carry. In the first case, Sven is probably going to end up as a support in your Trilane because you might not want to use him as a hard Roamer due to his mana issues. His itemization will rather be restricted to supportive gear like Dust/Wards or the Urn of Shadows. When planning on a semi-carrying Sven you will in most cases put him in a regular dual lane with a strong ranged stunner who profits a lot from the circumstance that Sven could set his skills up (like Slayer or Tormented Soul). He might establish some decent farm in that lane and might as well net some kills, by never solely relying on getting those in order to still be impactful later on.

3. Abilites

4. Ability BO
Due to the uselessness Cleave and Warcry you will mostly end up using some sort of Heavy Stats Build Order, which is in no case bad, as it increases your mana pool, and your overall DPS.

1 Storm Bold
2 Stats
3 Storm Bolt
4 Warcry
5 Storm Bolt
6 God's Strength
7 Storm Bolt

From now on you just want to max out Stats and and your Ultimate (at 11 and 16). When you are forbidden to take stats (due to being too low-leveled for the x-th level in Stats) you might want to include Cleave or Warcry at you own dispose. In case you opponents apply some sort of -Armour Strat it might be wise to put some levels in Warcry.
