Well greetings, first of all, i would like to say that anyone can play dota and please remember that there are many ways that you can play a hero. There isn't a fixed rule, there are some core items for some heroes but you are you and others and others, everyone is different, that is what makes this game so fun to play.


Visage


Here i am not going to talk about the same old same old stuff that everyone is talking, using fancy pictures and stuff. I am here to give you a direct info on how to play Visage. So i will make it short.

Many of you may ask yourselves and others " How do you play this guy? ". Well it much depends on you. Do you want him to be a tank? Do you want him to be a support hero? You can even make him a carry if you so wishes.

Some of you may ask why take so many Gravekeeper's Cloak? Why is it more than Soul Assumption?

Well one of the reason is that, it keeps you alive, it blocks Magical Damage every few seconds depending on the level.

Second is that it helps you raize Soul Assumption damage.

Third reason is that Soul Assumption costs a lot of mana and without Gravekeeper's Cloak, it is useless. Because for Soul Assumption to work, and do a lot of damage, either your team's heroes or the enemy's heroes have to take damage. This raises the meter on Soul Assumption.

The final reason for this is, Visage is really easy to be killed by other heroes, even with his Gravekeeper's Cloak. Unlike other heroes he doesn't have any stuns or blink abilities to help him escape. Even though he has his Grave Chill ability, once you got stunned and got yourself into a gank, you are doomed for sure. Because his base armor is low and his movement speed is only 295.

Items

Why? Because of the reasons i sad earlier in the skill build up. For boots it much depends on your situation, you can have nay of the following,


Some of you may ask " Why Arcane Boots? ". Well they aren't necessary but if you tend to do some really good quick magical damage, i suggest you get them. Because they really go well with Soul Assumption and this,


Another useful item is this thing .
Why? Because it causes slow, give you intelligence + mana and it has an AOE damage, plus it makes a lot tougher for your opponents to take you down.

After that you let your imagination take you away. Like i sad earlier, there isn't a rule on every hero on how they should be played. It much depends on the situation and you. If you have teamwork you can most certainly win the game.

Allies and Enemies

Well for this section i would like to say, heroes don't really matter. Because if you play it right you can win for sure. Hey if you don't believe me, i challenge anyone of you to a match, i will even take goblin if you you want, against any hero, with base gold of 800 of course. But i must have to admit that there are some heroes who have some advantage on others but that is what makes this game fun. If you keep on doing what others say, you are not going to get better. Often my friends asked, what should i get for this hero? What about this one? Well like i sad earlier, there are some core items and skill buildups but it doesn't mean that you have to follow them every time. Improvise, and try new things depending on the situation, if you follow what i say, i am sure you will master all the heroes in the game.
