Bats Bats Ahhh! I'm sure thats what your opponents will say when they see you have picked Visage, Although if that alone hasn't sparked your interest let me explain how this hero Visage, could beat the shit out of most every hero of the game without question.

First off as far as summoned units go visage has the most and the bats provide ample tankage ability and hey if they choose to hit you instead it heals your bats!
but seriously yea visage kicks ass, What I go to start off in 5v5 games is a ring of protection, an ironwood branch and a headress recipe so long as i get a sidelane to finish them bad boys. there on the sidelane i finish up my auras, basils and headress completed. then i set off on lifeleech with a helm of dominator (charm a centaur/satyr/furblog/troll). after that i'll focus on phase boots buying them at the base to not complicate things further.
After that is situated, lifeleech 2 auras and boots- I'll focus on survivability which visage is an incredibly good survivor, Might want to focus on using that headress for a Mek so you can heal yourself and bats -Or perhaps you are fighting those nasty ass cloaking bastards, well mek is good nontheless but if you think you will need see invis I would presumable go for a necrobook lvl3, its better than a gem because it won't drop on death and visage is incredibly good at farming up the gold needed for this investment.
As far as the buddy system goes I would say any hero with a range increase dmg aura, drow, luna would make a decent lane partner with any visage. However they aint shit compared to a half decent dirge, bats + Rip = GG buddy boy.
Well that about sums it up, I suppose this combo is a bit ballsy and aggresive pusher, but note that this tears the shit out of most any hero mid to end game.
