I Introduction

Hi and welcome to my 6.60 Kunkka Guide. I decided to write a in-depht guide about this amazing hero because there are not that many to be found on various dota sites. Since this is one of my first guides (and the very first Kunkka guide) I am totally open to any suggestions and any help in finalizing this guide would be much appreciated.
Even though the guide has the latest map version in the title, there are hardly any significant changes in the way one would play Admiral in 6.60. If you look at the recent changelog you will notice the base agility nerf (18->14) and agility per level decrease (1.7->1.3). Admiral also does not benefit much from the new items (no ultimate upgrade via Aghanim) so the item build will stay preety much the same as in 6.59.

Hero analysis

Kunkka the Admiral is one of the "newer" heroes introduced in Dota version (KTORA TO BYLA?????) along wiht Windrunner. He is a Strength meele hero with great early, mid and late game potential. There are various ways to play the captain, be it as a ganker, DPS, supportive type or all of them combined, in the end any of these will be a great addition to your team.

Kunkka is much skill dependent, literally and figuratively. You will need both: maxed out skills and the ability to use and link them correctly. He is far from being a hard hero but one that requires a bit of training. The delay or casting time of Torrent and Ghost Ship is something you need to get used to.

Even though he is a meele hero, thanks to the range of Tidebringer he can easily lane against ranged heroes. �In fact, ranged heroes who are usually standing behind the creeps will have sometimes a harder time dodging the cleave hits. Thats why it is a good idea to choose lanes with 2 enemy heroes to harass them both, he is after all one of the best lane controllers in the game.
