Lord of Avernus

Avernus is one of the best hero to be as a support but Still He is totally underated



Why exactly Avernus

He is usually picked beacuse of his ability to heal shield and DEBUFF :P His aphotic shield is a cheap good debuffer wich debuffs some stuns and helps u run away. He is totally item independent (beacuse of his frostmourne hes a killing machine Free skadi).

This is my first guide so :P sorry for the language



Lord Of Avernus



There are few heroes who are more difficult to kill than the Lord of Avernus. Using his Aphotic Shield, Abaddon can cast barriers around any friendly unit which absorb a set amount of damage before exploding, dealing the absorbed damage back to nearby attackers. When under threat himself, Abaddon uses Borrowed Time, which can give him new life if he is in danger. For several seconds, Borrowed Time reverses the effect of all incoming damage and makes it heal Abaddon instead. Many enemies who were sure of their victory have fallen upon the Lord of Avernus intent on destroying him, only to find him completely healed by their attacks. In addition to his own near-invulnerability, Abaddon can heal allies with his Death Coil spell. At the cost of some of his own life, the Lord of Avernus can either heal an allied unit or damage a foe. Finally, his dread sword Frostmourne imparts some of its unholy powers to its wielder. Any unit struck by this dark blade will be slowed, and any allies of Abaddon who attack the slowed target will gain increased movement and attack speeds. The Lord of Avernus excels at using his abilities on both offense and defense, and can single-handedly turn a losing battle into a victory.



A former paladin of great renown, Abaddon fell into darkness during the invasion of the Burning Legion, becoming possessed by many demons, corrupting both his soul and his powers. Now a Death Knight set high in the Lich King's hierarchy of generals, he rides into battle against impossible odds, never stopping until he reaches the World Tree itself. Whether enhancing his own fortitude with a shield of dark energy, or using his life force to aid in combat, the Lord of Avernus leads the armies of the Scourge ever onward, forever locked in combat with the forces of good, and his enemies who were once his greatest comrades.

Item explain :

1 For my oppinion the 2 hp regeneration aura is pretty good so i alyways get that first trust me it works


2 Boots U need ur speed to power up ur frostmourne ( watch skill build)


3 . Ring of basilius is probably the best thing at level 4 or 5 u are gonna need ur mana beacuse of aphotic shield ( watch skill build)


4. Nathrezim Buckler Is A really good item Dont underestimate This item 5 Armor on u Plus the Aura U can get 50% Damage Reduction at level 5 or 6 Imagine that So yea If u read this u Know what i mean :P

Now for the core items

1. Phase boots i recommend getting this before mekansm and vladmir's
offending beacuse think of this Damage + attack speed + slow ur opponent +
power up ur speed = Ownagee :P



2. Mekansm u will probably finish this at like level 7 or 8 if ur farming goes
Well and It will probably Go , beacuse u can stay in a lane for a long time beacuse u have high hp regen high def so yea its really good and after u get mekansm it will get even better Mekansm is good for two reasons

Helps u ganking
Helps u run away from a few unwanted guests


3 Vladmir's Offending For my oppinion The damage aura + plus the cheap
lifesteal is the better then satanic (well not really )
U will get this at lvl 10 or 11

4 Get ur 2nd looking frostmourne ur crystalys It will really help u since u need fast kill when u chase someone


Core Items

5 Extend Ur crystalys On to a Buriza do kyanon After that 2.4 Chance of Criti + High damage + free skadi = Bloodshedding (even worse then stryg :P)

6 Heart of tarrasque Improves ur tanking abbilities and can help u heal fast
and not have problems with death coil (this really helps u since the 2% hp regen per second is really good and that will make u a great healer since no problem with the hp now :P)


7 Diffusal stop ur enemies since they tend to run away(This helps with the little agility and if enemies run through trees that gets u a little confused and u loose him so just use the purge on him and Own his arse )

OR

8 Basher wich is good beacuse at late game people get boots of travel
and since abbadon has no real teleporting stoping skills u need that bash to
stop him on its feet ( This item is usefull for people who channel spells like Enigma Or Rylai or any other channeling spell hero beacuse one stun and ulti goes away so yea u get what im throwin :P )

Pro's and Con's

Pro's

1. High survivability
2 .Good assisting Hero
3. Good Debuffing skills
4. He has a free Skadi His Frostmourne

Con's

1. Not a really good ganker
2. When Silenced From heroes Like (Strygwyr , Silencer , Rikimaru ,Thrall etc.)
He is totally Useless
3. He is mana Dependent On The beginning Later He has no Problem

Skill Explain :

Is Ur killing machine Skill It Slows ur enemies ms (movement speed) Adds u 40% attack speed at level 4 So basicly this skill is ur best chasing skill


This is the best debuff skill ever Low manacost Good Usage since it drains damage then explodes and releases it to ur enemies (pretty good :P ) and it saves alot of lives since 200 damage is 2 hits and 2-3 Hits Those are Alot and the reason why i get this before death coil is beacuse death coil uses ur hp so its useless trust me get my skill build

This is a good skill at late game Low CD (cool down) And it can heal ur allies with it so at late game u regain 200 hp ultra fast and u can use it if ur enemies are running at low hp

This is ur ulti Ur Great ultra Ultimate Skill Its good for two reasons If u use Aphotic Shield It can get u away from High Damage Ultimates Like

Lina's Ulti


The reason why it aphotic and ulti saves u is
Aphotic drains 200 damage ultimate does at least 450 damage at level 1
U loose 200 hp ur ultimate goes on automaticlly when ur under 200 hp so Tadaa ur away from that awfull ultimate

Lion's Finger of Death


its Like Luna's Function Drains 200 Ulti goes on Blaah Blaah Blaah :P

So U get the Function Of Aphotic And Borrowed Time Thats why U are like a Really hard hero to get killed 2 Escaping Skill 1 Debuff Skill And lots of more Things to discover From the frostmourne Holder

Now for the assisting And Owning

Use Ur Aphotic On Tanks And Low Hp Heroes Like Lion Or Puck Or something
And keep spamming ur Death coild u wanna help as much as possible and keep using ur Mekansm When ur teammates have 50 % hp or something Aphotic saves lives does damage absorbs damage thats why u will love Abbadon

These two heroes are ur nightmare Axe's Ulti Culling Blade Goes Right through ur ulti so this can get u koed easily And so does necrolytes ulti so yea it pretty much sucks having these two against u.
