Opened it up with a poem ^^. This guide teaches you how to use the Night Stalker. I hope I'm not creating wallls of text. I'm open to suggestions, so please i adviseyou to suggest before rating, and rate my guide only when it's complete.

This guide teaches you how to become, 'Acquainted With The Night'.


INTRO
Balanar, one of my favorite charcaters, with every skill needed for ganking, and killing. Balanar is unstoppable a night, and he is very, very fun to use. Balanar can perform very much, he be a carry, a ganker, a tank, and more. Paired up with the right items, and right usage of skills, he can excel throughout the whole game..

NIGHT STALKER'S SKILLS
Void
Creates a damaging void. If cast at night, slows the target for 4 seconds

- A great weapon, this is what balanar depends on a lot, mainly for the slow. As you level this up, the mana, and the damage increase. If you require a different build (needing C fear), then getting just one level of this would be okay, just for slow purposes.


Crippling Fear
In the night, the Night Stalker can cause intense fear in enemy units, causing them to miss attacks and be unable to cast spells. This has reduced effect during the day.

- People underestimate this skill a lot, in fact, the only reason I don't like it is because of the mana. Be aware that at all levels, the mana cost is the same. Morning, it's not as effective, all it does is a 3 sec silence. The miss is really amazing against DPS hero's. I love this skill, but you should only get it, as soon as you can afford using this and void (Many times).

Hunter in the Night
The Night Stalker is at home at night. He attacks and moves more swiftly.

- This is what MAKES Balanar. How could you not like this. This is what Balanar depends on.

Darkness
Creates a period of darkness for the Night Stalker to thrive in.

- getting this is a little more situational. But you should get the two levels before lvl 11. At level 3, when you spam this at night, the night will almost never end. NO JOKE HERE. This works differently from how you think it would. It stops time!! No not stop time as in, everyone cant move, Just the time itself.

EX. It's 8:30 PM, and I use Darkness, Darkness lasts 30 minutes, When Darkness is over, The time will still be.. 8:30 PM!!! So spamming this at night is like your giving urself extra time... Besides it's mana independent.

Justifications
You should get void at level one because it has a ministun that can save your life. Besides, at level one it's 90 mana, so if you want to use it fro creeps, you may, because it's very hard to farm with balanar at the first morning. Then Hunter, use Void for creeps only until level 3 or 5. The reason I don't max Void first, is because, well, the slow is the same, the cd is so, and the mana increaes the higher the level, so you relaly don't need a high damage nuke, and need speed ( from hunter ) more. After hunter is maxed, Void is maxed immediately after, unless ur getting darkness at level 6, if you get Darkness at level 6, you can get around 50 / 75 more seconds of night, if you spam it at night. Also when morning comes, you can use Darkness to gank, or to escape.
Ok, why am I not getting fear at lvl 9, well I would, but I don't think you have enough mana to ue this often.

Ok, the reason i find my build right. The treads as your boots is an obvious choice, It helps Balanar in every aspect that he needs for my build. The bracer, well it oimprove your game a lot, and is great for it's cheap price. Vlad's, the great DPS item, it helps balanar, mana, regen, lifersteal, and actually lifesteal is good for this character, especially when paired up with Deso. Desolator, I love this iem because it adds damage and corruption is amazing, i'm relly liking this item. Then Basher ( Aawww! noobish, that's so old style, totally sux n0ob! ) It might eb the old way but that doesnt mean it's a bad way of playing balanar. Bahser works wonder for balanar, so taht your enemy will have no chance of fighting back, this ensures your kill. Cuirass, I get cuirass because, one, the attack speed it gives is amazing, and with this item you're sure to have a perma-bash, the minus armor works great with your Deso, and the add armor makes you more of a tank. With this item you can still own even if it's morning.

Oh yeah, another item I should consider is This item is purely situational, because the other Items are way mroe needed, and the avatar state doesn't last long enough if you're facing around 3 nukers.

Ok, lets start it out with the starting items
Boots are essential, you can chose not to get this as a first item, but just make sure, YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS BEFORE THE FIRST NIGHT. Then OK, so many people don't like getting bracers at all, ok please don't underestimate this item, it improves you overall and your hp. But because you need to rush the othr items, just get one of them....
