Early Game
Before creeps spawn, you should observer rune spot.
When clock shows TIME: 00: 25 get on the spot. (Marked)

While you are on the spot you can attack neutral creeps.
Every moment when time shows seconds :00 camp will respawn.
Be careful, when there is only one creep, it may decide to escape
and block whole process.

In case you don't want this to happen, don't attack the furthest unit, instead attack closest one. If this happens, use your blink to get down and quickly kill or move that creep. Afterwards, process will work normally.
When you get to level 3 or 4, you can gank one of lines.
While chasing enemy use your Shadow Strike to slow them down.
When your gank is complete return to the spot.
Now on, whenever you have chance to gank, use it.
Mid Game
Try to be with your allies most of the time and chase enemies around the map. It's very useful to use Sonic Wave in battle, affect as much enemies as possible. Be aware to have blink ready to avoid battle damage. While pushing use your Scream Of Pain to clean creeps faster.
Late Game
Akasha might have two roles in late game, nuke damage in battles or pusher. With your Scream of Pain and Sonic Wave (ultimate) you can clean creeps very fast, that allows faster push.

Item build

In case nobody buys chicken, you should. In case somebody already bought chicken then buy wards or Flying courier. Also get few branches for stats so killing creeps would be faster. Get some potions in case you are going to waste mana by ganking. I even suggest some stats items or even Gloves of Haste (if you are going to make Power threads later).
Get bottle and boots of speed as soon as possible to make your ganks successful. Next items are situational.

Allies and enemies

AOE disables and AOE damagers are great allies for Akasha because of AOE Massive damage. While laning or ganking, it's very useful to have disabler ally so gank can be successful. This is miniguide to Akasha starting in woods

Be careful when enemies have:

While doomed you can't use any of your abilities what makes you useless and easy to die. Silence is also one of spells you should be aware of because while silenced you can't fight or escape simply. Blink kills blink. Manaburn is problem to every INT Hero.
Cons and Pros
Pros about woods Akasha:
One more solo lane.
Better location for ganking
Cons about woods Akasha:
Slower leveling
Replays
None so far.
