I have other stuff to do so this guide will take a while until it is completed. I have been playing a lot of Meepo lately and in my humble opinion I am quite decent with him, while also having good drafting knowledge and general dota knowledge. That being said, I think my guide will bring some much needed light on this underrated hero. I am aware of the other meepo guides that are published here, but most of them are outdated and probably incomplete. Also, I have been luring this forum for 2 years until now and didn't contribute much, so I figured I could share my view on Meepo in this guide.

A little text about drafting meepo in a cm game atm ( no formating etc cause I am lazy ).

Meepo was considered shit tier for a very long time, seeing competitive play once in a blue moon. His ( their? ) popularity increased lately, as Lapiz ( seppo13 ) played a pretty good geomancer in this game, Mufc stomping with the help of meepo in this game and some others ( some with greater success then others ). I draft meepo in my CM games every opportunity I get and I figured I would share with you my way of thinking when I want to draft geomancer. I'll list some tips:
- Meepo should be your last pick (duh)
- Try banning and/or first picking Lich, other note-worthy commonly picked heroes that counter Meepo to a certain extant include ES, Venge and lion.
* Note that smart geomancer players will still do their job quite well against Lich and stuff like that, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't ban that stuff anyways
- AA is a great pick overall, and he has some very nice sinergy with meepo.
-
- will add more later, I got bored already.

Oh, one more thing. I usually solo mid as meepo, send a hard carry to easy lane and some1 like bat/wr/whatever to hard lane. Main reasoning behind all this is the fact that Meepo only needs xp from his lane, so sending him with a tri-lane would not be the smartest choice and sending him to the hard lane wouldn't be to smart right? Will add more later.

How to blink poof the "pro" way.
Step1: Group your secondery meepo's in a group ( as in..all meepo's exept the main one should be in a group )
Step2: use poof with one of them in the general direction that you will blink your main meepo too ( click poof then click that area: for exemple in front of you ), rinse and repeat with all meepos exept the main one
step3: Blink with your main meepo in that direction and the others will follow if you were quick enought
step4: earthbind then poof with your main meepo
step5: continue to earthbind, hit and poof with all your meepo's.

Imo meepo should farm his lane/jungle until he has at least level 11 and blink then gank non-stop ( while farming the jungle and some other lane then your carry's/pushing/roshing etc ).

Your core is treads/bot ( both if you are pro ), Blink Dagger, Mek. After that let your team's carry take the farm.

Luxuries items include stuff like Drums, Guinso, Vlad, Cuirras, Aghanim and maybe Orchid/Eul/Pipe depending on the situation.

I say it again, the only things you need in order to "own" are level, Blink and Mek ( ofc also boots )..rest is luxury and you shouldn't really aim for them. I often find myself buying wards, sentry, Smoke instead of my support after I farm my core.

Another thing is buyback - you should do that every opportunity ( ofc if it gives your team any advantage..I am not saying you should buyback anytime u die ).

Not organized yet, some grammer mistakes..whatever..will fix everything later. This is a draft rightt?
