Build explanation: Davion is capable of soloing thanks for his netural high starting STR and for Dragon Blood. In case you are having a hard time in your lane, switch to the secondary build (Tough Solo) which is also useful in a dual lane in sometimes. Otherwise having a high level AoE nuke is more important than the tanking ability which becomes more useful as the time progresses.

Breathe Fire: good for canceling clarities or for harassing around level5 and onwards. If you lane up with a stunner/nuker than it's pretty good as a finishing move. Not adviced for farming unless you wish to clear the creeps fast or when there are way too many of them to simply hit them down one-by-one. Always aim between you and the target hero, never click on your target unless when it's stunned.

Dragon Tail: in early game it's good for "surprising" hungry enemies who run under your tower or as a follow-up disable to kill a hero. As it has a short range you cannot really rely on it alone until you get a higher MS compared to your enemies and/or lvl3 ulti for the slow (and sange).

Dragon Blood: no comments needed.

Elder Dragon Form: use level1 EDF for pushing or laning purposes. Corrosive attack is really great against towers, while the ranged attack allows you to grab some last hits in tough lanes or harass an opponent out of your lane if it was equal till then. Level2 EDF is mainly good for farming, not that bad in team fights either if your opponents are staying too near to each other, but otherwise it's not that wow. The MS bonus comes useful though. Level3 EDF is the crazy shit. You can easily chase down anybody with just Treads, not to mention the S&Y build. >_< It should be activated if you plan to gank heroes or if you are ganked. And for clearing big waves of creeps or stacked ancients.



Core Item Build: start with some gauntlets and tangos. Later on focus on grabbing Treads and Black King Bar.

Helm of the Dominator: one of the best farming tool in your hands. No joke! Not just the possibility of farming neutrals without the need to go back, but also for taking over the control of a Centaur for example and to use it for pulling ancients (check "Creep Stacking" at the bottom of that guide). In a normal game your orb effect should be lifeleech.

Hand of Midas: get it if you can farm it in less than 8 minutes (counting from the first creep spawn). Helps a lot in farming throughout the game and adds very helpful IAS for your hero.

Black King Bar: an amazing item for your hero especially in organized games where teams will be smart enough to lock you down before you could fart in their face. If you roll your enemies early to mid game, it might be better to delay buying this item for the longer duration (especially against AoE heavy line-ups).

Alternatives: Sange & Yasha (all-around item, cheap components); Radiance (hardcore carry item); Cuirass (helpful for whole team, good counter against lategame AGI); Satanic (upgrading Helm when you are rich), Heart of Tarrasque (ultimate tanking item); Buriza-do Kyanon (absolute lategame DPS item)

Davion's Role in the Team: he is to solo and farm or to have a babysitter with him on the lane and... farm. Because of his stun and nuke he can make easy kills with a Lion or a Lich. In mid game he still has to focus on farming mainly, but when needed, then teleporting in for defending a tower or ganking a nearby opponent. He can start participating in team fights more once he has Black King Bar and Level 16 (so EDF lvl3). He has to wait until the opponents are close enough to each other and are stunned, so that he can deal as much AoE damage as possible. Going in with avatar and picking out one of the fearful stunners or nukers is also a good idea if your allies can follow up.
