Neutral creeps are various computer controlled units that spawn in the woods on each side of the map. There are 4 different difficulty levels of camps: easy, moderate, hard, and ancient. In each forest, there is 1 easy level camp, 2 moderate level camps, 2 hard level camps, and 1 ancient level camp. Each difficulty of camp has several varieties of individual creeps that it can spawn, chosen randomly.
Spawning
Neutral creeps spawn for the first time at 0:30, and then at the beginning of each consecutive minute (1:00, 2:00, etc).
For each neutral camp, there is a box around that is checked by triggers when the neutral are supposed to spawn. If there are any units in the box at this time, the neutral camp will not spawn.
Exception Units
There are certain units that can be inside the neutral spawning box without preventing the camp from spawning. They are listed below.
- Scarab
- Spin Web
- Remote Mine
- Ghosts (Exorcism)
- Psionic Trap
- Beetle (The Swarm)
- Dummy Units
